Matchday 8 review of the Siedlce Regional League 2026/27

Matchday 8 of the Siedlce Regional League brought more high-scoring results and plenty of movement in the middle of the table. A total of 34 goals were scored across the eight matches, giving an average of 4.25 goals per game. Once again, the most emphatic victory belonged to league leaders Mazovia II Mińsk Mazowiecki, who thrashed Naprzód Skórzec 7:0. The team from Małkinia also recorded an impressive result, winning 6:0 away against Płomień Dębe Wielkie.

For us, the most important event of the past weekend was our first away victory of the season. Sęp defeated ŁDK Łosice 3:0, recording a second consecutive league win in the process. Krystian Dadas opened the scoring in the 7th minute, before Szymon Kryczka doubled our lead from the penalty spot before half-time. In the 75th minute, Mikołaj Głodek completed the scoring. After victories over Podlasie II and ŁDK, our team now has 11 points and has moved up to 9th place in the table.

The leaders from Mińsk Mazowiecki once again showed why they sit at the top of the table. Mazovia II were already 4:0 ahead against Naprzód Skórzec at half-time and went on to win the match 7:0. Oliwier Przybylski scored twice, while Mateusz Bienias, Michał Zwierz, Kacper Witkowski, Aleksander Dzięcielski and Tomasz Babiloński all added one goal each. It was Mazovia’s seventh consecutive league victory, and they remain the only unbeaten team in the competition. The Mińsk side now have 22 points and an impressive goal difference of 43:6.

Second-placed Watra Mrozy also recorded a convincing victory, winning 4:0 away against Victoria Kałuszyn. The visitors struck twice within two minutes in the first half - Filip Kąca opened the scoring, with Karol Krzyżanowski adding another shortly afterwards. A similar pattern followed after the break, when Karol Jarosz scored in the 74th minute and Patryk Urbaniak completed the scoring two minutes later. Watra now have 17 points and remain second in the table, five points behind Mazovia II.

MKS Małkinia recorded their third consecutive victory. After earlier wins over Czarni Węgrów and Jastrząb Żeliszew, the Małkinia side this time thrashed Płomień Dębe Wielkie 6:0 away from home. Wiktor Złotkowski scored twice within the space of just two minutes, while Bartosz Składanowski added a third before half-time. After the break, Gabriel Adamski found the net, while Maksymilian Obuchowski scored twice, including one from the penalty spot.

The team from Gołąbek are also enjoying a good run, collecting a third consecutive victory after winning 2:1 away against Jastrząb Żeliszew. The hosts had led from the 17th minute through Kacper Dymowski and looked set to hold on to the advantage for a long time. However, the closing stages belonged to the visitors - Roman Bilinskyi equalised in the 82nd minute before Michał Kruszewski scored the winner three minutes later. Jastrząb, who had started the season with five unbeaten matches, have now lost three in a row. ULKS have 10 points and still have one game in hand.

There was also plenty of action in Węgrów, where Czarni hosted Wilga Miastków Kościelny. The hosts went into half-time 1:0 ahead after a goal from Bartosz Kruszewski, but Wilga made an excellent start to the second half. Przemysław Kajka equalised in the 47th minute and, just a minute later, Jakub Róg put the visitors in front. ULKS Gołąbek and Czarni Węgrów still have their postponed Matchday 7 fixture to play.
