Matchday 7 review of the Siedlce Regional League 2026/27

For us, the most important event of the past weekend was our team’s positive response after the heavy defeat to Mazovia II. Sęp defeated Podlasie II Sokołów Podlaski 1:0 at home, with Szymon Kryczka scoring the only goal in the 53rd minute. It was our second victory of the season and also our second consecutive home win. After three matches in Żelechów, our team remains unbeaten at home, having collected 7 points, scored three goals and conceded only one.

The leaders from Mińsk Mazowiecki continue their impressive run. This time, however, Mazovia II faced a much tougher test than they did against our team a week earlier. Fenix Siennica took the lead as early as the 13th minute through Daniel Świerżewski, but Mateusz Augustyniak equalised from the penalty spot before half-time. In the second half, goals from Alan Nowak and Dominik Lewandowski gave Mazovia a 3:1 lead. Kacper Piętka managed to pull one back for Fenix, but the Mińsk side held on to win 3:2. It was Mazovia’s sixth consecutive league victory.

Watra Mrozy moved up to second place in the table after winning 3:1 away against Naprzód Skórzec. Karol Krzyżanowski opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, but just three minutes later Jan Skotnicki equalised. The score remained level until the closing stages. Filip Kąca converted a penalty in the 81st minute, while Dawid Mrozik sealed the visitors’ victory in the 90th minute. Watra now have 14 points and trail leaders Mazovia II by five.

Six goals were scored in Unin, where Orzeł defeated Płomień Dębe Wielkie 4:2. The hosts made an excellent start, with Damian Matysiak scoring in the 4th minute and Bartłomiej Walenda doubling the lead just four minutes later. Płomień managed to draw level before half-time thanks to goals from Piotr Czajka and Kacper Pyrek. In the second half, however, only the hosts found the net, through Denis Dobrowolski and Sebastian Lis. It was Czajka’s tenth goal of the season, allowing the Płomień striker to remain at the top of the goalscoring charts.

The team from Małkinia recorded their second consecutive league victory, producing one of the bigger surprises of the round with a convincing 3:0 win over Jastrząb Żeliszew. After just 18 minutes, the hosts were already 2:0 ahead thanks to goals from Kacper Różański and Maksymilian Obuchowski. Bartłomiej Pyśk completed the scoring in the 80th minute. Jastrząb, who had remained unbeaten through the opening five rounds, suffered their second defeat in a row.

The highest-scoring match of the round was played between Wilga Miastków Kościelny and ŁDK Łosice. The hosts went into half-time with a 3:0 lead after goals from Szymon Wasilka, Przemysław Kajka and Jakub Biedrzycki. ŁDK, however, refused to give up, with Maciej Szpura and Szymon Grochowski reducing the deficit to just one goal within a few minutes. Kajka scored his second in the 80th minute, Szpura responded shortly afterwards with his second of the match, before Bartosz Wasilka made it 5:3 for Wilga late on.

Victoria Kałuszyn returned to winning ways after two consecutive defeats. The newly promoted side won 4:2 away against Zryw Sobolew. Łukasz Kuć and Adam Chojecki were the heroes for the visitors, both scoring twice. Wojciech Pietrzak and Filip Kwaśniak found the net for Zryw. The victory leaves Victoria on 13 points and in third place in the table.

After seven matches of Matchday 7, Mazovia II Mińsk Mazowiecki remain top of the table. The Mińsk side have 19 points and a goal difference of 36:6. Watra Mrozy moved up to second with 14 points, while Victoria Kałuszyn and Jastrząb Żeliszew both have 13. Fifth-placed Naprzód Skórzec have collected 12 points so far.
