Matchday 3 recap - Siedlce regional league 2026/27

The clash in Żeliszew brought together two sides that had made excellent starts to the season - Jastrząb and Victoria. The fans certainly couldn't complain of boredom. The hosts went ahead in the 30th minute through Cezary Bareja. Victoria managed to claw back the deficit and move in front in the second half, with Łukasz Kuć and Igor Madziar getting on the scoresheet - the latter with his sixth goal of the season. Just when it seemed the league leaders would take all three points home from Żeliszew, Jakub Grzebieliszewski equalised in the 90th minute. The 2:2 draw means both teams dropped their first points of the season - and Victoria additionally surrendered top spot, albeit only on goal difference.

The side to profit from Victoria's draw was Mazovia II Mińsk Mazowiecki, who thrashed MKS Małkinia 5:0 away from home and took over at the top of the table with an impressive goal record of 10:1. Marcin Kamiński struck twice before the interval, and after the restart Michał Zwierz, Eryk Kulma and Marcin Sadoch added further goals for the Mińsk side. The reserves from Mińsk have now won their second match in a row by a margin of at least four goals, without conceding.

The most prolific player of the matchday proved to be Piotr Czajka. The Płomień Dębe Wielkie striker beat the Czarni Węgrów goalkeeper four times in his team's 6:3 victory. The hosts were already 3:0 up by the 5th minute after goals from Kacper Jackiewicz, Czajka and Kamil Paska. Czarni managed to respond through Jakub Pliszka, Franciszek Szczepanik and Kacper Górski, but Czajka's further strikes settled the contest in favour of Płomień, who claimed their first win of the season, while their marksman drew level with Madziar (Victoria Kałuszyn) at the top of the scoring charts. Remarkably, this is now the third matchday in a row in which a single player has scored four goals in one game - Madziar and Marcin Kowalczyk (Watra Mrozy) managed the feat before him.

Newly promoted Wilga Miastków Kościelny kept their unbeaten run going, joining the leading pack with a 3:2 victory over Naprzód Skórzec. Wilga raced into an early lead - by the 8th minute it was already 2:0 thanks to goals from Przemysław Kajka and Jakub Biedrzycki. Naprzód pulled one back through Krzysztof Banaszek, but in the 74th minute Szymon Wasilka confidently converted a penalty for Wilga to make it 3:1. Tomasz Nieścieruk reduced the deficit again late on, but there was no time left to force an equaliser.

Zryw Sobolew claimed their second win in a row, beating ŁDK Łosice 3:2. The visitors stunned the hosts by going ahead as early as the 3rd minute through Szymon Grochowski, but the response came quickly - Dominik Bieńko struck a brace and Damian Kulik added another. Maciej Szpura's goal in the 73rd minute proved no more than a consolation for ŁDK on the day.

There was no shortage of drama in Gołąbek. ULKS were trailing Watra Mrozy 0:2 after goals from Hubert Kąca and Karol Krzyżanowski, and it looked as though the visitors would see out the win comfortably. Then, in the 89th minute, Kacper Pawlik pulled one back, and moments later Paweł Rogala made it 2:2! The hosts earned their first point of the season, while Watra let a seemingly certain victory slip through their fingers in the space of two minutes.

Orzeł Unin also got off the mark this season - with a point, to be precise - after a 1:1 home draw with Podlasie II Sokołów Podlaski. Paweł Buczyński put the visitors ahead after the break, and Dawid Domarecki equalised a quarter of an hour later.

Our Sęp Żelechów played out a goalless home draw with Fenix Siennica in a match staged in difficult weather conditions. The hero of Saturday's game was Mateusz Bryl, who saved a penalty and kept a clean sheet - an intervention that was later recognised on the "Futboliada 2.0" programme.

After three rounds of fixtures, it is exceptionally congested at the top of the table. Mazovia II lead the way ahead of Victoria, Watra, Jastrząb, Wilga and Zryw - all of these teams have 7 points, with goal difference deciding the order. Seventh-placed Naprzód are just a point behind that group. Sęp sit 12th with 2 points, while Czarni Węgrów and MKS Małkinia bring up the rear, still waiting for their first points.
