ŁDK Łosice 0:3 Sęp - convincing win and first away victory of the season

From the opening minutes, the match was played at a high tempo, with both teams looking to attack. As the pace gradually dropped, our side began to build attacks more patiently from the back through the centre-backs and goalkeeper. The hosts, meanwhile, relied mainly on long balls aimed at their tall striker and quick forward runs from their attacking midfielder.

We opened the scoring from a set piece. Sebastian Wdowiak delivered a corner into the penalty area, where Krystian Dadas reacted quickest, got in front of his marker and redirected the ball into the net to give us a 1:0 lead.

Before half-time, we created another dangerous situation in front of the hosts’ goal. Following a shot from Sebastian Wdowiak, an ŁDK outfield player stopped the ball with his hand as it was heading towards goal. The referee awarded us a penalty and showed the home player a red card. Szymon Kryczka stepped up and confidently converted from the spot to make it 2:0. Neither side created another clear chance before the break.

We started the second half somewhat sluggishly. Despite being a man down, the Łosice side managed to get into dangerous positions around our penalty area and created several chances. After one of their shots, the ball struck the post.

We also had opportunities to extend our lead. Twice we went through one-on-one with the ŁDK goalkeeper, but Mikołaj Głodek and Szymon Kryczka were unable to convert their chances. The next such opportunity finally brought the third goal, as Mikołaj Głodek kept his composure and made it 3:0.

With a three-goal advantage, we focused mainly on quick counter-attacks during the closing stages. Despite playing with ten men, the hosts kept pushing for at least a consolation goal, but our centre-back pairing and goalkeeper performed very well throughout. In the end, we kept a clean sheet and returned from Łosice with all three points, recording our second consecutive victory and our first away win of the season.
