Summary of Round 17 of the Siedlce District League – 2025/26 season

Marcin Sągol

The first spring round of our league did not disappoint, delivering plenty of excitement and goals across the matches. A minor upset occurred in Siedlce, where Pogoń II reserves defeated league leaders Wektra Zbuczyn 3–0. Towards the end of the autumn round, it seemed that Hutnik Huta Czechy might start performing better… Unfortunately, in their first league match of the year, they lost 1–7 to the team from Małkinia.

MKS Małkinia confirmed their high form with an emphatic 7–1 win over Hutnik Huta Czechy. The hosts were already leading 6–1 at half-time, with Antoni Polak (twice) and Michał Zawistowski (also two goals) among the scorers. Hutnik remains at the bottom of the table.

Płomień Dębe Wielkie recorded a valuable away win, beating ULKS Gołąbek 1–0 thanks to a goal from Kacper Jackiewicz. Fenix Siennica also collected three points, defeating Jastrząb Żeliszew 1–0 – the only goal was an own goal.

Another surprise came in Węgrów, where Czarni suffered a heavy 0–3 defeat to Podlasie II Sokołów Podlaski. Kacper Komycz scored twice, while Przemysław Jaczewski added another goal.

In Mrozy, Watra defeated ŁDK Łosice 3–1. The hosts found their rhythm after the break, with Kowalczyk and Kąca sealing the win late in the match.

There was no shortage of excitement in Unin either, where Orzeł drew 2–2 with Zryw Sobolew. The visitors equalised shortly after half-time, and the match ended in a draw.

A very tight contest was played in Gończyce, where Sęp Żelechów lost 2–3 to Naprzód Skórzec. Despite leading 2–0 after goals from Głodek and Król, the hosts were unable to hold on. The decisive goal in the closing minutes was scored by Jan Skotnicki, securing all three points for his team.
