Matchday 18 Summary – Siedlce Regional League, 2024/25 Season
This past weekend was successful for teams from our county. Orzeł Unin and Zryw Sobolew secured draws, while Sęp Żelechów and Hutnik Huta Czechy both celebrated victories.
Hutnik faced a higher-ranked opponent in Pogoń III Siedlce. The match started perfectly for the hosts, with Wojciech Jonczak scoring in the 2nd minute. However, the visitors quickly equalized – in the 13th minute, Kacper Kalaciński found the back of the net for Pogoń. The next goals didn’t come until much later. In the 68th minute, the hosts regained the lead through another goal from Jonczak. With nine minutes left in regular time, Filip Gawinek made it 3–1. Siedlce managed to score once more in stoppage time, but they couldn’t find the equalizer – sealing a well-deserved win for Hutnik.
