Summary of Matchday 6 of the Siedlce District League, 2024/25 Season
Matchday 6 is behind us, and once again, we have a new leader. Pogoń Siedlce's third team has climbed to the top of the table. They were scheduled to face Grodzisk Krzymosze last weekend, but the visiting team forfeited the match. A win is a win, and with a perfect record and 18 points, Pogoń now leads the league standings.
An exciting match unfolded in Sokołów Podlaski, where Podlasie's reserves faced the then-league leaders, ŁDK Łosice. The visitors started strong and took the lead in the 5th minute with a goal from Kamil Kasjaniuk. However, the hosts only needed a little over 10 minutes to equalize 1-1, thanks to Jakub Żelaźnicki. After 30 minutes, the home team managed to take a 2-1 lead through a goal by Aleksander Jezierski, but in the last minute of the first half, Bartłomiej Olędzki of ŁDK equalized at 2-2.
Podlasie began the second half well, regaining the lead in the 56th minute with a goal from Jakub Woźniak, making it 3-2. However, the hosts held this lead for only a short time, as Łukasz Naumiuk scored in the 62nd minute, leveling the game at 3-3. As it turned out, this was the final score of the match. The lead changed hands multiple times, but in the end, both teams shared the points.
