Summary of the 21st Round of Matches in the Siedlce District League for the 2023/24 Season
The Zryw Sobolew players came close to causing an upset last weekend when they faced Fenix Siennica away. Under the guidance of coach Marcin Cieśla, they took the lead just before the break when Damian Kulik scored against the hosts. The opening of the second half was equally successful for the Sobolew team. Just two minutes after the game resumed, Mateusz Kowalczyk scored the second goal for Zryw. Unfortunately, things only went downhill from there. In the 52nd minute, Dawid Matak scored a contact goal to make it 1:2, and between the 61st and 77th minutes, the hosts not only recovered from their deficit but also sealed their victory. Dariusz Osica, Dawid Matak, and Piotr Markowski consecutively scored against Sobolew. Ultimately, the Sobolew team had to concede superiority to their opponent and ended the match with a 2:4 loss.
