Summary of the 12th round of matches in the Siedlce district league for the 2023/24 season

The defeat of the league leader comes as a significant surprise. The Wektra Zbuczyn team, which seemed to be the clear favorite in the match against the much lower-ranked Orzeł Unin, was unable to effectively compete against the proteges of coach Janusz Kowalski. The hosts took the lead in the 22nd minute with a goal from Piotr Poszytek. However, Wektra managed to respond quickly, and just 13 minutes later, it was 1:1 when Paweł Klewek scored past Jakub Kielak. The first half ending in a draw meant that both sides still had a chance to secure a more favorable outcome. The Unin players took better advantage of this opportunity, managing to score twice against Wektra in the second half. First, in the 59th minute, Artur Meloyan did it, followed by Kamil Kasprzak in the 74th. The team from Zbuczyn had no answer to close the gap and eventually lost to their opponents 2:3, marking their second defeat of the current season.
