Summary of the 3rd round of matches in the Siedlce district league of the 2023/24 season

The Siedlce team in the two previous matches got us used to their impressive victories. At the beginning of the season, under the coaching of Jaromir Kostrzewa (who last season led Watra Mrozy, securing their promotion to the V league), they won 7:1 against Orzeł Unin and a week later thrashed Czarni Węgry 12:0. In the match against Kolektyw, scoring goals wasn't as easy. What's more, the team from Oleśnica took the lead when, in the 44th minute of the match, Paweł Rucikowski beat Patryk Szatkowski. However, the hosts' joy was short-lived, and in the injury time of the first half, Dawid Jastrzębski leveled the score. The second half started very well for the Siedlce team when, after Dawid Jastrzębski's second goal of the day, they took the lead 2:1. As it turned out later, this goal was valuable as it ensured Pogoń's victory and their third consecutive full point haul.
