Preview of Round 17 of the Siedlce District League – 2025/26 season

Marcin Sągol

After the winter break, football returns to the pitches of the Siedlce District League. This coming weekend, 14–15 March, Round 17 will be played – the first round of the spring part of the 2025/2026 season. It is worth recalling that Round 16 was postponed until April, which means the teams return to action a week later than originally scheduled.

One of the most interesting fixtures of this round will be the match between Pogoń II Siedlce and league leaders Wektra Zbuczyn (Sunday, 3:00 PM). The Siedlce side trails Wektra by five points and if they make use of their home advantage and defeat their opponents, they will take their first important step this year in the fight for the top spot in the league table.

Our team will play at home on Sunday, 15 March at 11:00 AM in Gończyce, facing Naprzód Skórzec – currently third in the league with 29 points. It will be a test of our form at the start of the spring round, and we hope to deliver a good performance.

The match will be officiated by referee Paweł Księżopolski, assisted by Rafał Polkowski and Andrzej Bibik. The match observer will be Piotr Jastrzębski.

We invite all supporters to the match – let’s cheer for Sęp!ierwsze miejsce w ligowej tabeli.
