Preview of Matchday 26 of the Siedlce District League 2024/25 Season
There are only five matchdays left until the end of the 2024/25 Siedlce District League season. The upcoming 26th round will feature a clash between the current leaders and runners-up of the table — Mazovia II Mińsk Mazowiecki and Wektra Zbuczyn. A draw will be enough for Mazovia II to celebrate the league title and secure promotion to a higher division as early as Saturday.
Our team faces its second derby match this Saturday. After last week’s 4–2 win over Zryw Sobolew, this time we will take on Orzeł Unin. Orzeł currently holds a 2-point advantage over us in the standings. A victory would move us up from tenth to ninth place, and possibly even to eighth, should Podlasie II lose their match.
In recent weeks, the team from Unin has recorded 3 draws and 2 wins. In the derbies played so far, coach Rafał Głąbicki’s side has twice shared the points. How will their clash with Sęp unfold? We’ll find out tomorrow. The match kicks off at 3:00 PM and will be officiated by the trio of Arkadiusz Pazdyka, Przemysław Wójcicki, and Daniel Jastrzębski.
