The Polish National Team of Priests in futsal has won another European Championship title, confirming the team’s dominance in international competitions. In the decisive match, our priests defeated Croatia 2–0, finishing the tournament in Lublin unbeaten and claiming their tenth gold medal in the history of the event.

Throughout the championship, the Polish side displayed excellent form – solid defense and impressive efficiency in front of goal. The individual award for the tournament’s best player (MVP) went to Fr. Dariusz Snochowski, who played a key role on the road to gold.

Special congratulations go to Marek Parzyszek, the team’s head coach – a youth product and former player of Sęp Żelechów. Parzyszek is one of the most recognizable figures in our club’s history. He played as a midfielder and forward, beginning his football journey with Sęp Żelechów as a teenager.

After representing Sęp, he continued his playing career with clubs such as AZS AWF Warszawa, Korona Kielce, and Spartakus Daleszyce, before successfully building his coaching career. As head coach of the Polish National Team of Priests, he has led the team to further triumphs on the European stage.

The tenth European Championship title is a tremendous achievement for the entire squad. Congratulations to the whole team and coaching staff!
